  • Your Superpower Is What You Did When You Were Young

For me my superpowers when I was a boy were:

    1. Sports
    2. Athletics
    3. Movement
    4. Writing
    5. Talking
    6. Spelling
    7. Reading
    8. Speed, quickness, agility
    9. Getting answers from people wiser and smarter than me

Ironically, I use ALL my unique superpowers in my daily life and business as an adult.

Bill gates said, “The thing you do obsessively between age 13 and 18, that’s the thing you have the most chance of being world-class at.”

Going all in on my superpowers, gifts and strenghts has yielded me outsized returns and continues to do so.

Granted, I have dabbled and experimented with venturing outside my zone of genius but they often led to dead ends, banging my head against the wall and marginal success.

When I return back to my superpowers it’s like the lights turn on, everything is aligned, I have a feeling of effortlessness, momentum, fulfillment and progress.

At 37, I will continue to lean into my superpowers and achieve my wildest dreams.

  • Life Is A “Lila” (A Cosmic Divine Play)

Photo by Gary Scott on Unsplash

    Life is a lila.

“Lila” means divine play in Sanskrit.

We are simply a small part in this cosmic play.

I’ve learned to simply let go and dance with life.

Of course like any human I get caught up in the seriousness of life at times and I can also put on act.

But, I often remind myself, of how life is a lila.

There is no rhyme or reason.

    It’s just a beautiful play.

Like a kid playing so freely or artist writing or painting.

We are playing for the sake of playing.

We are doing art for the sake of art.

Like any human, I am flawed and have had many experiences.

However, through it all, I’ve learned there is no such thing as good or bad, success or failure. It just is.

There is no morality, right or wrong.

    Life is purely happenstance.

The very fact of our existence and how we came to be is pure coincidence.

So to put a purpose or meaning to life is foolish.

We are simply here to do whatever we choose.

Life is a lila, a cosmic play.

  • 9 Life Hacks To Level Up Your Life (37 yo Father, Entrepreneur)

    1. Action -> Motivation. Meaning, do the the thing
    2. Parkinson’s Law
    3. Getting answer on Google AI is much faster than watching a youtube video (but for more in depth detail or how to physically perform something, in those case, video may be better)
    4. Write to declutter your mind, regain clarity, express your thoughts, feelings and emotions. It’s therapeutic, relieving, and healing.
    5. Meditation. Calm, sharpens your mind, helps you gain clarity, gain equanimity and peace.
    6. Watch and/or listen to youtube videos in 2x speed.
    7. Build the show-up-ability muscle. Just show up.
    8. Wake up early. Gives you “me” time, allows you to enter a flow state, and get your most important work done before the world wakes up.
    9. Have systems, structure, routine in your life to allow you to invest your precious focus and brain cells on the big things that matter.
  • Hard Work is Not Enough for Success You Also Need…

Hard work is not enough for success you need a clear strategy, the right direction, and supportive networks.

Naval Ravikant believes that hard work is essential for building massive wealth, but it must come third after choosing what to work on and who to work with.

“Hard work is absolutely no substitute for who you work with and what you work on. They’re like three legs of a stool. You short change any one of them, the whole stool is going to fall down.”

“What you choose to work on, and who you choose to work with, are far more important than how hard you work.” Naval Ravikant

It’s like playing on a Basketball team. You can work as hard as you want, but without the right strategy and teammates plus coaches we cannot win a championship.

Even if you are an athlete in a solo sport like boxing. If you don’t have the right strategy to beat your opponent, the right coach, you can’t become a world class fighter.

For me, hard work has been something ingrained in me since a young age.

My parents immigrated from Nepal working 16 to 18 back breaking hours per day.

My coaches all preached hard work as the key to success.

My mentors said you got to want success as bad as you want to breathe.

And so I thought hard work was all I need to succeed.

But then I grew up and realized hard work is not enough.

Yes, I still need to work hard, however I also need to have a clear strategy and the right mentors, team and/or network to help me achieve my goals.

For example, having a clear strategy may be what is the most viable market for me that fit my unique strengths, abilities and interests. Or understanding how someone has dominated an industry before and stealing and applying that exact same framework into my business.

The second pillar is having the right mentors, team and/or network.

You know the saying, “if you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

That saying rings true, since you cannot see your own blindspots.

Or said differently, you cannot see the light when you are shrouded in darkness.

Someone 100 chapters ahead or who has achieved your goal already has the map.

It’s like you walking around in circles for years in one spot, when all you had to do was follow a map and the treasure would have been all yours.

That is what having mentor, coach or right team can do for you.

It’s like what Steve Jobs said, “You can only connect the dots looking back.” Find someone who has achieved what you want and will look back to help you connect the dots. Steve also had a coach. Steve’s most famous and influential mentor and advisor was Bill Campbell, widely known as the “Trillion Dollar Coach” of Silicon Valley. In 2010, Jobs also briefly worked with executive coach John Mattone.

So, remember the 3 pillars of success: clear strategy, right team, and hard work.

  • The Unconventional Life

Photo by Maria Oswalt on Unsplash

An unconventional life is a way of living not bound by standard societal rules, prioritizing personal freedom, purpose, and self-expression over traditional expectations.

People who have lived unconventional lives reject standard societal milestones like corporate careers, marriage, or city living in favor of total solitude, extreme exploration, or radical self-reliance.

    1. Worked in corporate for 7 years.
    2. I pursued Professional Basketball at 26.
    3. Played Pro Ball in Mongolia for 1 year.
    4. Lived and played Basketball in Bangkok, Thailand for a year.
    5. Had a son with a woman I had know for just 3 months.
    6. Lived 1 month in Bhutan with wife and son
    7. Traveled for 3 months with wife and son to Nepal, India and Thailand.
    8. Separated from wife at 37.
    9. Single at 37 with a son
    10. Renting an apartment with a $80,000 per year business/job as a Basketball Skills Trainer & Personal Trainer.

I feel free with no mortgage.

However, what keeps me here in New Jersey is my son.

When I compared myself to other successful people, I feel behind because I don’t own a home.

But, then I quickly think about how I have lived “The Unconventional Life.”

Historically, I haven’t done things exactly by the book and that’s ok.

In fact, I truly understand the meaninglessness of life and have realized life is totally based on my own interpretation.

Here are some people in history who have lived unconventional lives:

    1. The Buddha
    2. Benjamin Franklin
    3. Leonardo Davinci
    4. Tim Ferriss
    5. Felix Dennis
    6. Bruce Lee
    7. Elon Musk
    8. Henry David Thoreau: A writer and philosopher who famously spent two years living in a small cabin by Walden Pond to practice self-reliance and deep reflection on nature.
    9. Jack Kerouac: An iconic novelist who abandoned conventional stability to roam across North America, capturing the beat lifestyle and the philosophy of the open road.
    10. Christopher McCandless: An adventurer who gave away his savings, shed material possessions, and journeyed into the Alaskan wilderness seeking ultimate freedom.
    11. Faustino Barrientos: A Chilean hermit who lived completely isolated in the remote Patagonia region for roughly 46 years, relying on a lifestyle akin to early frontier settlers.
    12. Mr. Gunnar (Mr. Gilu): A Swedish recluse who spent over six decades living in total solitude deep within the remote forests of Sweden.

    Common Themes in Unconventional Lives

    1. The Search for Solitude: Many who leave the grid do so out of a deep preference for quiet and a desire to escape modern stress.
    2. Rejection of Material Burdens: Shedding traditional markers like home mortgages, corporate ladders, and heavy possessions brings a distinct sense of psychological lightness.
    3. Risk of Isolation: Stepping away from the crowd often trades societal safety nets for potential loneliness and self-reliance.

    Do I want more success?

    Sure.

Well, then how do I get it?

I just keep going. I learn from the best. I experiment. I iterate.

    But, I just keep going.

I’ve made many mistakes in my life.

However, life is a school and our problems are the curriculum.

    Life is an adventure.

And before I die, I want to dome interesting, fun and cool a** sh*t!

This jives with my motto, “make a whole lot of money and have a whole lotta fun doing it!”

  • Lessons I Learned Losing Family & Friends

Photo by Jarl Schmidt on Unsplash

Loss: the state or act of no longer having, keeping, or controlling something.

    Here’s who I lost:

    1. My two Grandmothers, 2 Grandfathers
    2. My older cousin brother – Babu Dai (alcohol overdoes)
    3. My older cousin sister – Phulhamu Didi (succumbed to her illnesses)
    4. My friend Rubiel Mercado. (no seatbelt and flew through his windshield)
    5. My friend Alexa (Autoimmune disease)
    6. Ismar “Mookie” (shot. He was not the target)
    7. My friend Woody (drowned running from the cops)

    I can go on.

Here’s what losing my family and friends taught me:

    1. Death can happen to any of us at anytime
    2. There is no more important time than the present
    3. You better act now. Time is ticking.
    4. Your dreams will not magically happen. You must act relentlessly.
    5. There is no meaning to life, except the meaning you give it.
    6. There is no proof of spirits. They never came back to visit me.
    7. Life is meant to be lived. It’s an adventure. Enjoy, laugh and experience the full human experience.

I love and miss my family and friends dearly.

However, we will all be gone one day as well.

Let us all live our lives as best we can, achieve our dreams and do exactly what our soul desires.

  • Human Connection & AI (How I Plan To Thrive In The Age of AI)

Photo by Katja Ano on Unsplash

As AI is all the rage, our fellow humans will yearn for more human connection.

My solution to thrive in this new age is to embrace both human connection and AI.

What this means is I will continue with being social with family, friends, and meet new people.

For my in person business, I will continue to provide private and group Basketball and Personal Training sessions.

For my online business, I will have live coaching calls with clients privately and in a group setting.

In the near future, I will also be hosting live, quarterly, in person meetups for my online clients.

As for AI, I will leverage the most useful tools for my businesses and also create an AI company.

With AI advancing at a rapid pace I will utilize the new AI technologies to provide value to my clients and the world at large.

As Darwin discovered, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent…it is the one that is most adaptable to change.”

And so it is, with the rise of AI we must be able to adapt by embracing AI. That said, we cannot forget that the core of who we are social creatures who long for human connection.

It is at the perfect intersection of both human connection and AI where we will thrive and build a better world.

At least, that is what I feel and believe.

What do you feel is the best solution to thrive in this new age of AI?

  • AI Safety and 4 AI Models Saying “Killer robot” Is The Least Plausible Scenario

Photo by Gabriele Malaspina on Unsplash

Terminator can very well be our reality if we don’t course correct our development of AI.

OpenAI’s artificial intelligence launched a cyberattack against an online service months before a July hack against startup Hugging Face, the company confirmed Friday, a revelation that could ramp up calls for safety regulations across the industry.

“Based on our review, our agents used the RubyGems platform to access the internet to carry out benign tasks and retrieve public information,” an OpenAI spokesperson said in a statement. “We’ll continue to investigate as part of our broader review of agent activity during training and evaluation.”

If you are not aware, AI-powered humanoid robots have beaten human athletic world records by using specialized mechanical designs, fast computing systems, and advanced balance algorithms to outperform human speed and jump limits:

    1. Broken Records in Beijing 100-Meter Dash: A humanoid robot ran 100 meters in 9.39 seconds at the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, beating Usain Bolt’s human record of 9.58 seconds set in 2009.
    2. High Jump: Another robot achieved a standing high jump of 2.88 meters, surpassing Javier Sotomayor’s 1993 human record of 2.45 meters.
    3. Long-Distance Running: Humanoid machines have completed half-marathon distances in times significantly faster than human elite records using liquid-cooled motors and long-leg designs

*Control Limits: While these machines achieved high peak speeds and jump heights, many still struggled with stability, with some stumbling or collapsing right after crossing the finish line.

    • However, with more development robots can easily fix this.

    Where does that leave us?

Well, as every day people, we can:

    1. Voice our concerns, thoughts and solutions on our social media channels
    2. Get our family and friends to voice their concerns, thoughts and solutions on their social media channels
    3. Vote for the leader/President who we feel can get us out of this mess

With all this doomsday talk, I happened upon this article, in which, Business Insider asked OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, Anthropic’s Claude, and SpaceXAI’s Grok. on how AI could kill us all.

The four AI models responded that “Killer robot” is the least plausible scenario.

They all said human misuse of AI is considered a more immediate risk than AI itself.

Reading the article and learning that Chat GPT thought human extinction was the least plausible scenario, that human misuse of AI is considered a more immediate risk than AI itself, and hearing Gemini say, “Technical experts largely dismiss this trope because intelligence does not equal malice, and critical military infrastructure remains air-gapped and heavily reliant on human oversight,”.

Joint Call to Slow Down AI. Following these disclosures, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei publicly warned of the rapid escalation of autonomous risks and published a letter calling to slow the development pace of frontier AI.

Both Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman backed this alarm:

Sam Altman agreed with Amodei’s pacing proposal and backed the idea of embedding independent, external evaluators within AI firms.

Elon Musk simply replied on X: “Dario is right”.

  • AI 2026 Findings, Future, & Present.

I spoke with my Finance client and he mentioned many of his coworkers were fired.

He’s a lynchpin in his company so he still has a job.

He told me, many of his successful colleagues are diving deep into learning AI and staying up until 3 am to learn all they can before heading into work the next day.

    Where does this leave us?

Well, as we learned from the 1848 California Gold Rush we can either sell the shovels or mine for Gold.

I plan to do both. I am a, have your cake, and eat it too kinda guy.

Specifically, I will be creating an AI Newsletter reporting the latest and greatest AI advancements, giving you cutting edge updates, and helping my readers make money with AI, get AI jobs and more.

    AI Advancements:

    1. Multi-agent systems: Organizations increasingly deploy task-specific agents that coordinate and manage projects over time rather than relying on a single monolithic model.
    2. Stealth and continuous learning models: New high-performing models (such as code-named releases on platforms like Open Router) leverage massive context windows and test continual learning paradigms.

    Physical AI and Robotics

    • Advanced dexterity: Industrial robotics companies like Kawasaki Robotics introduced high-degree-of-freedom arms with open control architectures tailored for real-time machine learning orchestration.
    • Humanoid deployment: Market projections and commercial tests point toward generalized humanoid hardware scaling rapidly for physical labor and logistics.

    Hybrid AI and Material Discovery

    • On-device processing: Manufacturers like Lenovo are embedding hybrid local AI capabilities directly into commercial desktop and mobile hardware portfolios.
    • AI-designed materials: Machine learning pipelines continue to formulate record-breaking alloys and superalloys, bypassing decades of traditional trial-and-error simulation.
    1. World Modeling (2025–2026): Recent systems like Google DeepMind’s Genie and Nvidia Cosmos simulate interactive 3D environments and physical rules at high frame rates, helping train autonomous robots safely before real-world deployment

Advances in ML, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision have enabled AI to perform ever-more complex tasks such as diagnosing medical conditions, powering autonomous vehicles, and personalizing user experiences in digital platforms.

  • Cashing In On The AI Agents Gold Rush (Will you sell the shovel or mine for gold?)

Cashing In On The AI Agents Gold Rush (Will you sell the shovel or mine for gold?)

Photo by Igor Omilaev on Unsplash

    AI Agents.

Dharmesh Shah, Billionaire Founder & CTO of Hubspot, stated on The My First Million Podcast, “AI Agents is the biggest opportunity right now.”

“Agents are the new apps: Software is shifting from static applications to autonomous AI agents that act as digital teammates.”

I have built an AI Agents with Go High Level software.

Now, I am building AI Agents with the best AI software on the market.

What is the outcome I am after?

To help people live more efficient, joyful and exciting lives.

How will AI Agents help achieve this goal?

Well, an AI agent is an autonomous software system powered by a large language model (LLM) that uses tools and operates in a repeating loop to complete multi-step jobs.

Unlike a standard chatbot that just answers a question and stops, an agent takes a goal, reasons through the steps, interacts with external software or APIs, and continues working until the objective is achieved.

Therefore, I will build, deploy and run AI agents that automate your busywork, such as research, workflows, reports and more.

My AI Agents will do the work of 1,000+ employees, obliterate busywork, and allow you to buy back your time to enjoy and do whatever you want.

To put it simply, the AI Agents are “the gold” and the “shovels” are the providers of GPUs, massive data centers, cloud platforms (like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google), and foundational model APIs (like OpenAI or Anthropic).

Ideally, I would like to participate in both the selling of shovels and the mining for gold. But for now, I will begin with one endeavor.

What will you do in this new age of AI?
